Responsibilities
Fall 2022 Internship Program:

• Program Dates: September 19 – December 9, 2022
• Time Commitment: 16-24 hours per week. Exact schedule to be determined based on business need. We will do our best to accommodate course schedules.

Virtual Opportunities:
• Cyber Security: Responsible for enabling NBCUniversal to securely create and distribute compelling content by delivering innovative cyber security defenses and services.
• Engineering: Responsible for the design, implementation and support of all technology for NBCU Global Enterprise Infrastructure and technical operations including Production, Distribution, Media Fulfillment, Data Systems, Software Development, and Workplace Experience & Solutions; ensuring reliable solutions across the content supply chain for NBCUniversal's New York, New Jersey, Colorado, Florida, California and International operations.

In-Person Opportunities: must be available to work from New York, NY to be considered for the below opportunities
• Technical Operations: Manages the people, process and systems that make up the NBCUniversal supply chain, in support of content creation, content distribution, monetization, optimization and revenue recognition.  Technical Operations strives to simplify business engagement and streamline end-to-end workflows across our global portfolio. This is achieved through the management of deeply embedded business partnerships with our creative partners within the Film and TV divisions, and with our commercial business leaders across ad sales, content sales and content distribution, as we prepare and deliver all media across the NBCUniversal portfolio.
• Software Engineering: You can expect to write and review others' code, debug and test, help design cloud and application architecture, deploy to production, and learn about networking, databases, and other components of our applications. All the while, you'll be using modern frameworks, languages, libraries and methodologies to help us build world-class apps and services!

In-Person Opportunities: must be available to work from Englewood Cliffs, NJ to be considered for the below opportunities

In-Person Opportunities: must be available to work from Stamford, CT to be considered for the below opportunities
• Engineering: Responsible for the design, implementation and support of all technology for NBCU Global Enterprise Infrastructure and technical operations including Production, Distribution, Media Fulfillment, Data Systems, Software Development, and Workplace Experience & Solutions; ensuring reliable solutions across the content supply chain for NBCUniversal's New York, New Jersey, Colorado, Florida, California and International operations.

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
• Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the length of the program.
• Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by NBCUniversal.
• If selected for a virtual internship, must be working from a location within the United States during all hours worked.
• If selected for an in-person internship, must be willing to work in the designated city and state as mentioned in the job responsibilities section.

Additional Job Requirements
• Must submit an attestation disclosing your COVID-19 vaccination status and, if partially or fully vaccinated, submitting your vaccination record no later than 7 days following commencement of employment.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the commencement of employment or must undergo regular COVID-19 testing if Company determines your job position requires accessing an NBCUniversal worksite.
• Must be willing to adhere to all Company COVID-19 workplace safety policies and protocols.

Desired Characteristics
• Students with class standing of junior or above preferred.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Strong interest in the media industry
• Passionate about staying current with technology landscape
• Commitment to building an inclusive work environment
• Demonstrated technical/analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal skills; must be able to work effectively as part of a project team and foster team cooperation
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Previous internship experience and on-campus involvement
