Opportunities may include (but are not limited to):

Engineering (Post Production & Digital Workflow)

The Post Production and Digital Workflow team provides the systems and support for multiple areas of NBC Sports Group Production and Operations for both in-house and on-the-road events, including NFL, Notre Dame Football, NASCAR and the Olympic Games. Our systems perform multiple functions, including: live recording of competition feeds, video editing for live coverage and feature production, transfer of footage and finished shows to and from production trucks at competition venues, and storage and retrieval of footage in the NBC Sports archives.

Qualifications/Requirements
• In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution and be able to provide documentation to confirm your degree progress.
• Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
• Operating System familiarity: Windows Server, Linux (RHEL/CentOS and Ubuntu).
• Programming/Scripting - One or more of: Python, HTML/CSS, Javascript, SQL.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by NBCUniversal.

Additional Job Requirements 
• If selected for an in-person internship, must be willing to work in Stamford, CT.
• Must submit an attestation disclosing your COVID-19 vaccination status and, if partially or fully vaccinated, submitting your vaccination record no later than 7 days following commencement of employment.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the commencement of employment or must undergo regular COVID-19 testing if Company determines your job position requires accessing an NBCUniversal worksite. 
• Must be willing to adhere to all Company COVID-19 workplace safety policies and protocols.

Desired Characteristics
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
• Student with class standing of junior or above preferred
• Strong interest in the media industry; knowledge of sports and/or fantasy sports is a plus 
• Commitment to building an inclusive work environment  
• Ability to multitask and highly organized  
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Previous internship experience or on-campus leadership
• Strong problem solving and communication skills
• Interest in exploring emerging technologies
