INTERN (UNDERGRADUATE)

We're looking for an Intern to join our team in New York or Los Angeles as part of our Summer 2023 Internship Program.

In the exciting role as an Intern, you will join over 150 renowned subject matter experts that bring unparalleled experience and a vast network of connections to the media and marketing industry's most trusted and connected advisory group.

MediaLink's 10-week internship program begins May 30th and runs through August 4th. During your internship you will assist in market research, situation analysis and industry conference support, as well as learn and contribute to our advisory practice on what drives the media, entertainment, marketing, and technology industries.

As an Intern at MediaLink, you will be assigned projects and join engagement teams that focus on identifying areas of opportunity, optimization and ultimately growth for our clients. Most importantly, you'll get to meet, learn, and work alongside MediaLink's talented team who are sitting at the center of the industry's evolution and writing the playbooks for our clients' next winning move.

This is coupled with lunch and learn sessions led by our staff to offer the most robust experience MediaLink has to offer and an overarching project for the intern class to present at the end of the program to the senior leaders at the firm.

This position will pay $18.50 per hour.

Key Responsibilities
• Act as support to your specific mentors and assigned teams, from handling day-to-day tasks, communications and follow-ups
• Work with engagement team leads across ad tech platforms, publishers, broadcast networks, media investors and Fortune 500 brands to help them strategize on new products, go-to-market strategy and how to think about the competitive set
• Conduct market and company analyses, strategic diligence, and competitive benchmarking on key business issues in marketing, media, advertising, and technology
• Assist in the development of client-ready research and project presentations
• Develop briefing books for clients, identifying key information across Fortune 500s as they prepare for Cannes Lions tentpole event
• Be an active participant in idea generation, brainstorms and creative ideation on client teamwork

Your Experience
• A ''Rising Senior'' currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in business, media, marketing, advertising, technology and/or consulting fields
• Motivated self-starter that is looking to gain experience that will ultimately lead to a career in marketing, media, or consulting.
• Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills are essential
• Impeccable attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills; strong oral and written communication skills
• Effective time management skills and ability to prioritize
• Proven analytical or research skills
• Limitless intellectual curiosity and general desire to learn, absorb information and trends from colleagues, trade sources and the broader marketing network
• Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member to deliver objectives
