Lucasfilm's Business and Legal Affairs team supports and executes the creative team's vision to ensure a cohesive Star Wars narrative that plays across multiple media. Lucasfilm's business spans the entire entertainment spectrum, including the production of original live-action and animated content for film, television, and streaming, visual effects and audio production for external clients, licensed products, and gaming.

A Day in the Life…
Assist attorneys in the preparation of legal contracts and documents
Routes and tracks a variety of documents for internal review and approval
Assist in review of clearance materials
Legal research projects
Maintain filing system

Qualifications:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to take initiative and manage multiple projects
Must be a team player, but also able to work independently
Demonstrate a high degree of discretion in regards to sensitive and/or confidential information

Preferred Qualifications:
Previous work experience in the entertainment industry, and basic knowledge of copyright law

Required Education:
Successful completion of first year of law school and must be currently enrolled as a law student in an ABA accredited law school
Completion of contracts coursework
Completion of an entertainment, copyright and/or intellectual property class is preferred

The pay rate for this internship in California is $40.40 per hour.

Additional Information:
Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship
Must be at least 18 years of age​
Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program. ​
Must possess unrestricted work authorization
Must provide own relocation, housing and transportation position is located in San Francisco, CA
