THE JOB
Live Nation Special Events, a department of Live Nation Entertainment, is in search of a highly motivated, organized and most importantly, enthusiastic individual who is interested in working within the hospitality and event-sales industry. As a Special Events Intern, you will gain valuable, real-world experience while reporting to the National VP of Special Events, National VP of Sales and Special Events Coordinator by assisting the entire Live Nation Special Events' sales department.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Execute weekly reports in a timely manner.
• Research hospitality and events industry contacts by market.
• Research potential clients in industries as assigned.
• Assist with growing special events database.
• Help manage division page on company intranet and assist with archives.
• Support onboarding and auditing venues to sales and partnership platforms.
• Assist National Sales Team with conference and tradeshow preparation tasks.
• Assist Marketing/Special Events Coordinator with project tasks as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be able to commit to up to 25 hours per week for a 12 week session
• Must be willing to submit to a background investigation
• Detail-oriented and exceptional attention to detail is a MUST.
• Able to coordinate multiple work streams for on-time project delivery
• Eager to learn and be proactive with new tasks
• The ability to conduct yourself in a professional matter at all times
• High proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Powerpoint
