In ternship Summary:

This is an intern position at Live Nation - Canada's largest concert promoter. This po sition would assist in all aspects of the marketing of summer events including but not limited to; advertising and promotions.

Learning Objectives:
• Learn to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment under strict deadlines
• Develop critical thinking and initiative within marketing activities
• Learn from a team of industry experts within the live entertainment industry

Role & Responsibilities:
• Assisting show marketing team on various projects including market research and auditing creative
• Contributing to marketing strategies and execution to engage target markets
• Managing poster and flyer allocations and distribution
• Communicating graphic needs to external graphic artist
• Assisting social media team with writing copy and customer service
• Coordinating ticket orders to media partners and other contesting elements as needed
• Updating various websites and ticketing pages and ensuring assets are correct
• Assisting show marketing team collecting and compiling invoices and backup for advertising settlements and other admin duties as required
• Perform other tasks and work on projects as needed

Skills & Experience :
• An avid interest in learning about the music industry
• Proven ability to listen, understand and communicate effectively
• Ability to take direction while also displaying strong personal initiative
• A creative thinker and self-starter with a winning attitude
• Ability to work well within a team environment
• Available to work evenings and weekends as required
• COVID-19 vaccination will be required for this position subject to legally valid exemptions

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

Sitting for extended periods of time at a computer station or work desk; stands and walks throughout the day; occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.; uses hands and fingers to operate computers and office equipment for up to 8 hours each day; lifts up to 10 pounds regularly; exposed to typical office environment conditions and noise levels.
