Job Description

The KMRNew York internship program provides students withthe basic understanding of an agency’s function in a client’s career. Interns will be exposed to the full cycle of a client obtaining a job from audition to booking. They will:seethe daily tasks that go intosubmitting a client for a project, read scripts as well as research new projects on the horizon, contribute to brainstorming and necessary organizational and administrative tasks.

Thispart-time, hybridinternshipwill run from late-Januarythrough May 2023.School credit isrequired and a time commitment of about 15-20 hours a week. Our office hours are 9:30am to6:30pmMonday through Friday withFridaybeingremote.Intern hours will be from 9:30am to 2:30pm.**Please note all people who are working in-person need to be fully vaccinated and boosted for COVID-19 **

What You Need:

  • Functioning laptop with reliable high-speed internet access

  • Ability to download video files

  • Reliable transportation to our Bryant Park office

• An interest in the Entertainment Industry andapassion for supporting artists
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Must be reliable, forward-thinking andpossess good judgment
•Ability to handle sensitive information
• Outstanding communication skills
• Ability to anticipate needs and adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment
• Abilityto demonstrateaccuracy in the execution of assigned tasks

What You'll Get:

Interns willtake part in a program-long project, which will help give them a full understanding of the agent’s process.The Internship will also entailassisting the agency’s theatrical department with a variety of daily administrative tasks and special projects as needed,providing hands-on experience and exposure to the work that can be expected as a full-time employee. You will learn how to use Breakdowns Services,InEntertainment,IMDBPro as well as some other industry software.

Theatrical Intern Daily Tasks Include:

  • Answering Phones

  • Uploading tapes

  • Script coverage

  • Airdates/opening date tracking

  • Research on upcoming projects
