Summer Intern Data Engineer Hybrid

Job Description

The Job:

Join our team, HBO MAX Data and AI, to make streaming products more data-driven and work closely with team of highly motivated engineers to build a state-of-the-art data platform to solve various data-driven use cases across the organization.

The Daily:
• Employ languages and tools like SQL, Python and others to build scalable data pipelines, tables and schemas to form the foundation of efficient data and machine learning applications
• Build actionable insights, incl. real-time dashboards and visualizations to help drive critical decisions
• Build data expertise and own data quality for your areas
• Demonstrate good communication skills and present work to stakeholders and leadership

The Essentials:
• Drive to learn, ask questions and motivation to find the answers
• Experience with Python and SQL Experience with AWS Some background in Data Analysis

Internship Program:
• Students must be currently enrolled in a college degree program for the full duration of the internship
• Summer 2022 program dates are June 6th - August 12th (additional time frames are available for students in a university quarter system); must be available for full program duration
• Full-time schedule (40 hours/week)
• Company-issued computer provided for the duration of the internship program.
