Job Description
The Job:
Our team is responsible for acquiring and saving subscribers. An intern on this team will be working on the direct to consumer (DTC) business in two capacities. First, they will do a competitive market assessment (i.e. alternative payment methods, merits of launching gift cards, etc.). Second, they will work on a small project over the course of the summer. The user will work with Product and Engineering.

The Daily:
• Help define and write product requirements and user stories for key capabilities on our product roadmap.
• Learn how product managers and UX designers work with developers to bring a feature to market.
• See how a product feature or capability gets pitched, evaluated, and ultimately prioritized for the roadmap.
• Research and present a competitive market assessment (i.e. Use critical thinking, strategy, and a consumer-driven lens to address market opportunities with creative solutions)

The Essentials:
• General knowledge of product management
• Must be a daily user of a streaming service
• Knowledge of the agile development process
• Strong data and analytical skills!

Internship Program:
• Students must be currently enrolled in a college degree program for the full duration of the internship
• Summer 2022 program dates are June 6th - August 12th (additional time frames are available for students in a university quarter system); must be available for full program duration
• Full-time schedule (40 hours/week)
• Company-issued computer provided for the duration of the internship program.
