The Job
The Retention Marketing Intern will support the HBO Max Retention Marketing team in the strategy ideation and execution of marketing campaigns aimed at motivating subscriber viewership and retention. They will be included in strategy discussions, contribute to experimentation design, and play a key role in driving creative execution.
The Daily
• Manage internal development timelines for key campaign initiatives.
• Lead campaign review and approval process across Editorial, Design, and CRM leads.
• Partner with the Senior Manager of Retention Marketing to ingest campaign data and insights and translate into tactical wins.
• Identify high engagement campaign tactics used by competitors and other leaders in the subscription space and make recommendations for incorporating into the HBO Max retention program.
The Essentials
• Passion for iterative marketing experimentation
• Experience developing and executing targeted marketing campaigns through email, push and paid channels
• Highly organized and proactive mindset
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to successfully navigate a heavily matrixed crossfunctional landscape
Internship Program
• Students must be currently enrolled in a college degree program for the full duration of the internship
• Spring 2022 program dates are January 24th - April 15th; must be available for full program duration
• Part-time schedule (16-24 hours/week) designed to work around class schedule
• Company-issued computer provided for the duration of the internship program.
