Job Description

The Job
The Full Stack Design Intern is a critical member of the Growth Marketing team and will be supporting the Full Stack Design team with coding and creating with the latest innovations in technology, HTML, CSS and beyond. He/she will be hands-on and collaborate with innovative Product Managers, Designer, and Copywriters to prototype, conceptualize and hand off for deployment of innovative digital web experiences.

The Daily
• Support other Full Stack Designers with developing web pages based on designs and CMS capabilities.
• Responsible for executing creative designs on the website with front-end code
• Actively participating in creative briefings, assisting in the development and execution of creative concepts, determining solutions/alternatives when necessary and implementing them accordingly and on time.
• Understanding of digital and social platforms, as well as their use within growth marketing that will ultimately impact the big picture.
• Passion for creating beautiful, pixel perfect visual designs
• Understand web performance metrics to ensure new designs do not impact overall performance

The Essentials
• Skilled in visual design and typography. Motion is a plus!
• Experience in HTML, CSS, Javascript and current front-end technology including React, Redux, Node, Express, PHP, Apache, SQL, MongoDB, AWS, Drupal, Wordpress, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, Figma, XC, InVision, Axure and Principle.
• Clear understanding of coding best practices to maintain healthy web performance metrics.
• Knowledgeable, understanding and experience in UI/UX design specialization and web applications.

Internship Program
• Students must be currently enrolled in a college degree program for the full duration of the internship
• Spring 2022 program dates are January 24th - April 15th; must be available for full program duration
• Part-time schedule (16-24 hours/week) designed to work around class schedule
• Company-issued computer provided for the duration of the internship program.
