Job Description
UX Researcher

The UX Research Intern will support the UX experience research effort dedicated to the Action-Role-Playing-Game portfolios of EA. You will be called to help Identify areas worthy of deep diving and execute thorough investigations on core concerns for product development at EA. Those concerns can relate to a variety of UX topics such as open world design, narrative structure, progressions systems, etc.. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone interested in learning about a career in UX Research and video games.

Responsibilities:
• You will collaborate with senior members of the UX Research team and EA development teams to define complex problems related to User Experience in video games.
• You will build custom research procedures to help EA stakeholders acquire insights and knowledge regarding strategic questions & topics.
• You will take part in discussions about the implications of study results and how they can help solve strategic design problems for EA development teams..
• You will support all aspects of research projects from study kick-off to reporting.
• You will work with recruiters and operations team members to schedule research participants.
• You will craft custom data collection tools (Interview guides, survey, etc.) based on specific research objectives & goals.
• You will moderate the research events (Interviews, playtest, etc.) with participants to collect data.
• You will analyze the data and create a report to present to the various EA stakeholders as well as the UX Research team.

Qualifications:
• Candidate for a Bachelor's, Master's or doctoral degree; relevant courses include experimental psychology, human-computer interaction, statistics, market research or anthropology
• Proficiency in English
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Proficiency in basic inferential statistics (e.g., significance testing)
• Experience with the following are a plus:
• Survey platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey)
• Statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS, R, MATLAB)
