Machine Learning Engineer

Development Technology & Services (DTS)

Development Technology and Services (DTS) powers EA studios to create even greater player experiences. We help shape the future from the way games are created, to how they are played and viewed. We are a global team and also the largest studio within EA! DTS proudly consists of the following teams: Engineering Services (ES), Studios Data Insights, and Quality, Verification, and Standards.

Responsibilities:
• You will write new and refactor existing python code for Machine Learning
• You will implement and tune Machine Learning Models, Hyperparameters, and configurations
• You will create training and test data sets for machine learning models
• You will automate ML processes, including training, inference, and reporting
• You will also gain experience building pipelines for ML related tasks
• You will have the opportunity to work with colleagues across many EA studios and many games

Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field.
• Demonstrated familiarity or interest in machine learning or deep learning, statistical analysis through previous internships, personal/ academic projects, hackathons, and/or publications.
• A year of experience using machine-learning or data engineering libraries/frameworks in python (scikit-learn, tensorflow, theano, pyspark).
• Ability to concentrate on loosely defined problems which require application of creative approaches.
• Understands how data is stored in databases and can write fast and reusable SQL and NOSQL code to retrieve it.
• Proficiency of a programming language; Python, Java, C++
• Proficiency in writing REST API calls to communicate with server-side applications.
• Understanding of NLP ML techniques for text representation, semantic extraction techniques and modeling
