We are EA

We entertain millions of people across the globe with the most amazing and immersive interactive software in the industry. That is why we employ the most creative, passionate people in the industry. EA's UK game studio Criterion is opening several yearlong internships, spanning all game development crafts.

We are growing our team with accomplished people who will help us take a huge leap forwards, and you, the next generation of game makers, are central to this ambition. As we explore new possibilities within gaming, challenge our own beliefs and step outside of our comfort zone, we need fresh perspective that challenges convention and inspires us to grow.

We are looking for an accomplished and motivated Game Designer Intern who will help us on this journey, while learning about the field of games art hands-on.

Responsibilities
• At Criterion we believe when we work together in multi-discipline feature teams this allows for even greater collaboration and creativity. As a designer you will work together with other designers, engineers, artists, and all other disciplines within the studio - we do not silo our teams by craft.
• Currently we are looking for a Technical Design intern who can join our Vehicle Handling team, helping us build and evolve our core gameplay.

Skills and Qualifications
• Some experience in Game Design, or have Physics qualifications, and are familiar with Visual Scripting – maybe you have taken part in a game jam, worked on a game project at University or on a personal game project.
• You are technically minded, comfortable exploring complex systems
• You value working in a team and are not afraid to ask questions
• A passion for games, games design and an interest in vehicles

Please note: If you have a passion to work for Electronic Arts please apply, even if this specification does not describe you. Unfortunately, job specifications are a little more box like than we would like. We do not like putting people into boxes. We would love to hear about who you are because, even if it is not design, we may find something here that is right for you and therefore right for us too.
