• You are studying in the penultimate year of an undergraduate degree
• Available to commence a full-time, 1 year placement in summer 2022
• Available and eligible to work in Guildford, UK, without the need for visa or relocation support

Creating a bespoke function around this capability and ensuring that we have the ability to simplify and present back this intelligence in a meaningful commercial way will allow for more informed decision-making and innovation based on insights and intelligence into player metrics and experience, competition, market potential, and EA performance across our portfolio

What a Commercial Markets Intelligence Intern does at EA

MARKET POTENTIAL AND GROWTH STRATEGY
• Helping the commercial markets intelligence team drive strategic growth leveraging regional data and insights
• Surface business opportunities by identifying, analyzing, and interpreting trends through data
• Provide market insights and analytics opportunity sizing and influence franchise and markets strategies leveraging expertise in commercial revenue streams

PLAYER EXPERIENCE & PURCHASE BEHAVIORS
• Supports developing and enriching insights to understand our players purchase behaviors and markets variances
• Helps make commercial recommendations on player experience improvements utilizing teams' findings from insights and Intelligence
• Assists analyze any elements impacting consumer journey and decision-making process
• Supports forming a deep understanding of the player network leveraging from multiple data ingestion point

MONITOR EA's PERFORMANCE IN MARKETS
• Help to track and report our business performance in markets
• Work with external partners to gather information and intel
• Provide Market signals and information that are impacting our business performance to key stakeholders

UNDERSTAND OUR COMPETITION
• Supports putting in place a systemic way to look at our competition Go-To-Market strategies
• Analyze their go to market strategy and help quantify their performance

The next great Commercial Markets Intelligence Intern also needs:
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to build strong personal relationships across the regional and central teams
• High energy level, exceptional organizational skills, and personal drive to get things done which allows him/her to stay on top of a continuously demanding and time-sensitive workload
• Business Thinker who has a strategic perspective on markets
• Very strong Excel, PowerPoint, and online collaboration skills (e.g., G Suite, Asana, Slack)
• Business school or university course
• You will have experience in commercial intelligence
• A passion and knowledge for video games
• Must be an undergraduate looking for a 12-month placement year (returning to full-time education)
• An interest in working in the entertainment industry
• Having first experience with other Business Intelligence tools is a plus
• Be proactive, self-motivated, accountable, and professional
