The Job
KFile is CNN's leading investigation team for the social, mobile generation. Kfile is a ''scoop team,'' known for breaking news by scouring the internet through research, fact checking, and investigative reporting.

The Daily
• This position will help the KFile team report on political candidates, nominees, appointees, elected officials and other figures by sorting through social media, videos, livestreams, podcasts, public records and other source material.
• You may also be asked to work with other CNNPolitics teams to help with coverage of big events – debates, Election Night, etc.

The Essentials
• Strong news judgement
• Knowledge of digital platforms and search function capabilities and software
• Keen attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Willingness to dive deep into sensitive subject matters

Internship Program
• Students must be currently enrolled in a college degree program for the full duration of the internship
• Fall 2022 program dates are October 3rd – December 9th; must be available for full program duration
• Part-time schedule (16-24 hours/week) required
• Company-issued computer or secured remote access provided for the duration of the internship program.
