Consumer Insights Internship, BET - Summer 2023 (Hybrid, NYC or Chicago)

Important notes:
• This role is based in New York City or Chicago. The team's summer format will be hybrid, working onsite 2 days a week.
• We do not cover the cost of housing or transportation.
• Internships are paid at a standard competitive hourly rate, so proper work authorization is needed to be employed within the United States. The pay rate for this role is $20/hr.
• The program starts in June and runs for 10 weeks.
• Interns must be available to work full time (5 days) per week (no weekends). Normal business hours.
• You must be a rising junior, senior or master's student to be eligible (December 2023-May 2025 grads).
• College credit is optional, not required. We will provide appropriate documentation if necessary.

Department Overview:

The Consumer Insights Department at BET exists to provide roadmaps for the BET leadership team to use our understanding of consumers to drive content, programming, and ad sales decisions for BET Masterbrand, BET + streaming and BET digital properties.

Responsibilities:
• Design and develop surveys to gauge insights and provide senior leadership with recommendations.
• Update data and insights support for annual research reports and presentations.
• Collaborate with marketing department and provide insights on how to promote television shows based on consumer insights.

Qualifications:
• The ideal candidate is a rising sophomore - senior pursuing a degree in business, marketing, economics, psychology or similar degree.
• MBA or Master's in Marketing Research students also encouraged to apply.

Hiring Salary Range: $20.0.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. Salary Details
