Job Description

Amazon Studios is seeking bright, multitasking, dynamic and self-motivated interns to work hard, have fun and make history with us this summer. The Amazon Studios Internship Program gives interns hands-on experience working with the studio behind shows such as The Boys, Fleabag, The Man in the High Castle. In addition to working closely with Amazon Studios executives, interns have the opportunity to participate in guest speaker sessions, networking events and screenings.

IMDb TV, launched in 2019, is Amazon's free, ad-supported streaming video service that enables all customers in the U.S. (including non-Prime and Prime members) to watch acclaimed series, hit movies and nostalgic TV without purchasing a subscription. IMDb TV is a modern version of a network, offering the widely appealing content audiences have come to appreciate from broadcast; the inventive, deeply satisfying storytelling they've come to crave from cable; and the on-demand, premium experience they've come to expect from streaming. In 2020, Amazon Studios assumed creative leadership of IMDb TV, further accelerating the ways in which we are able to help millions of streamers enjoy premium content.

The IMDb TV Creative Development intern will gain an understanding of the process of series development from submission all the way through production, post, and delivery. They will learn what processes and mechanisms are necessary to shepherd a series through the many steps to get it to customers. The intern will work closely with the entire Content & Programming team which includes creative and development, licensing, strategy, program management, and research. They will also have exposure to marketing, PR, production, post-production, business affairs, legal, finance, and ad sales/ad marketing.
Our summer internship class will take place from June through August 2021. Internships are paid opportunities. Credit is not required, however we will provide documentation if necessary. An Amazon Studios team member will contact you should your experiences and interests match an open internship position.
