Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Subscription Video - Summer Intern (Graduate)
OVERVIEW:
The Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Subscription Video MBA Intern will work with the DTC team to seize opportunities and generate incremental revenue for A+E's subscription video services – A&E Crime Central, HISTORY Vault and Lifetime Movie Club. This individual will work across owned and third-party platforms to develop and implement programs to drive subscriber and revenue growth.
The MBA Intern's responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):
• Leveraging customer data to develop targeted subscriber-lifecycle programs such as re-activation and upgrades
• Evaluating opportunities for expansion in select international territories
• Performing competitive research and analysis to identify tailwinds/anticipate headwinds
• Partnering with research and UX teams on customer surveys and research to improve our customer intelligence
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:
• Possesses exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
• Is an intellectual risk-taker who is thoughtful, culturally competent, and eager to learn
• Is proficient in MS Excel (pivots, vlookups, advanced formulas) and PowerPoint
• Is able to communicate complex ideas effectively to technical and non-technical teams at all levels of the organization
• Is comfortable mining and manipulating complex datasets
• Is a big-picture thinker who is highly detail-oriented
• Is a proactive self-starter who gets satisfaction from solving problems
• Manages competing priorities and delivers against tight deadlines
• Experience with any of the following is a plus: subscription products, direct marketing, digital products (video a strong plus)
