Job Description:
Integrated media company is seeking a Controller with experience in publishing or entertainment.
Primary Responsibilities:
• All internal and external financial reporting
• All governmental reporting (e.g. business licenses, payroll tax filings)
• Budgeting and cash flow planning
• Ability to work in dynamic, fast paced, fast growing company where adaptability is imperative
• Supervise AP/AR Clerk
• Extreme attention to details
• Interfacing with company’s CPA
• Understand and update the balance sheet and prepare journal entries to general ledger.
• Manage all aspects of office procedures, monitor cash movement and work closely with company owners
Job Requirements
• 7+ years of financial experience with at least 2 years of recent relevant Controller, or Assistant Controller experience
• Bachelor’s degree at minimum
• Extensive working knowledge in MAS90 software and very comfortable in MS Excel a must
• Analytical, able to multi-task and complete projects in a timely manner
• Understand and able to close all MAS90 modules, reconcile accounts and prepare adjustments
• Know how to manage and work with staff
• Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to articulate verbally and written, ability to think quickly
• Self-motivated, innovative, and ability to initiate and lead change
