Broadcast Operations Coordinator

Job Description:
The Broadcast Operations Coordinator is responsible for scheduling on air promotions and checking broadcast logs for Hallmark Channels. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: schedules daily promotions onto log for Hallmark Channels; checks Broadcast log for inconsistencies; sends completed print log to Network Operations Center; sends completed electronic log to Playback Coordination Manager; sends digitally assigned promotions to Network Operations Center; creates play lists for air from program log; data entry and serves as back-up for Network Operations Coordinator.
Note: Management has the right to add or change duties and job requirements at any time.
Job Requirements
Basic Qualifications
•High school diploma or GED
•Must have minimum one year experience using a database system
•Must have minimum one year experience data entry
•PC proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook
Other Qualifications
•Must have the ability to pay close attention to detail and to understand written and oral instructions
•Must have strong communication and organizational skills
•Must be able to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
•Must effectively prioritize workload
Preferred Qualifications
•Undergraduate degree
•Knowledge of cable channel or broadcast traffic systems
•Experience working in a cable/tv environment
