Responsibilities

- Responsible for maintaining calculation guidelines; overseeing and approving residual payments automatically generated PARIS - NBC/Universal?s proprietary residuals and participations application.

- Manage a processing team focused on delivering quality results while prioritizing workload and resources to achieve maximum output.

- Strong understanding of entertainment distribution revenue streams as it relates to residual processing.

- Communicate effectively with Labor Relations, Finance and talent guilds to resolve real time issues.

- Respond to guild claims including research, resolution and reporting.

- Work directly with our internal Participation and Residuals System team to further develop Paris functionality and productivity.

- Coach and develop direct reports by encouraging innovation and career growth.

- Work closely to support of our finance teams, which include cash forecasting, ultimates, reconciliations, and residual obligations for participant statement preparation.

- Become a key member of our team providing leadership, and residual expertise to maximize productivity while insuring quality throughout the entire process.

Administer the calculations, and report residual obligations to the various talent guilds (ie. SAG, DGA, WGA, IATSE and AFM) on behalf of all NBC/Universal entities. Oversee residual ultimate calculation and cash flow analysis. Develop important relationships with various business units, and talent guilds. Identify problem issues, developing innovative solutions to improve productivity process improvement.

Job Requirements

Basic Qualifications

- Minimum 3 years of residuals management level experience.
- Minimum of 1 year entertainment finance, production or distribution experience.
- Experience with film entertainment accounting.
- Minimum of 1 year experience with Microsoft Excel, SAP and relational data base applications.
