WARNER BROS. INTERNATIONAL TELEVISION DISTRIBUTION is responsible for expanding the Studio’s global presence in television, for handling the full breadth of distribution services to the international television marketplace and for establishing and managing strategic global alliances that include co-productions as well as branded channels and cable and satellite co-ventures.
We are currently seeking a Senior Contract Administrator to join Warner Bros. International Television Distribution department. The position will entail the following responsibilities:
*Prepare contracts, amendments, product schedules and other legal documents using established templates for assigned territories and orders
*Verify availability (rights and clearances) for product contained in sales orders and research prior sales history and deal terms
*Resolve any conflicting clearance, sales, pricing or rights issues prior to document distribution
*Input contractual terms and licensed product data into WB systems
*Research and determine available product for inclusion in output deals and applicable pricing for same
*Coordinate with Sales to ensure timely confirmation to Licensees
*Track status of documents from sales order through fully-executed agreement
*Coordinate execution of approved documents, update status in system and distribute documents both internally and externally
*Coordinate and correspond with Sales, Rights, Collections, Finance, Tech Ops and Legal departments regarding contract administration issues
*Cross-train with other administrators to enhance proficiency in a wide range of markets
*Maintain various records and files. Perform special tasks and assignments as required.
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate will posses the following:
*College degree strongly preferred
*High school diploma required
*Three to five years contract administration or similar experience, preferable in television or film distribution
*Strong PC skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
*Minimum typing speed of 70 wpm
*Excellent written, verbal, analytical and organizational skills
*Must be able to take direction and work well with others
*Must be detail oriented, with accurate input and proofing skills
*Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, demanding environment while effectively meeting deadlines
