Job Description:
OFF-SITE SENIOR ART DIRECTOR/Graphic Designer
A Squared Design Group is a young, vital and forward-thinking design/ad agency that’s growing fast, with an exciting and expanding roster of clients from the entertainment and retail industries and plans to open an LA satellite office by the end of 2010. Currently, we’re looking for an off-site Senior Art Director who MUST have a great theatrical and TV key art portfolio, as well as experience in creating screeners, DVD packaging and ancillary pieces. Web design experience is a plus. If your designs can attract A List clients, and you can work both independently and collaboratively with fast turnarounds, then this is the gig for you.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with print and FLASH web ads, movie posters, outdoor campaigns and packaging within the film and/or TV industry
Exceptional application of graphic design skills, including typography, concept ideation, color theory, use of texture, spacing and scale, visual presentation development and layout/storyboards supported by a great portfolio of creative art and graphic design
Visual design solutions that address business, brand, market, and user requirements
Optimized graphics for multi-platform implementation
Manage creative projects from concept through completion
Work effectively in both individual and team settings
Job Requirements

Expertise in Mac design software:
Photoshop, InDesign, Freehand, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and FLASH required
Knowledge of Quark, Director and Java Script
