Razor & Tie is looking to hire a person to handle outreach and development of relationships for exploitation of our music assets (artists, master recordings and song copyrights) via usages in film, television, advertising, video games, digital technologies, soundtracks, compilations and other key channels.

Responsibilities also include outreach to potential international licensing or distribution partners and coordinating with international partners on administrative and marketing aspects of active projects.

Functions include development and maintenance of comprehensive databases of contacts for music exploitation in aforementioned areas, regular interface with music supervisors and production executives, creation and dissemination of materials and information (e.g. samplers, on-line updates, etc.) on Razor & Tie music and artists.

Job will require working closely with marketing team in developing and executing marketing plans, working with R & T Music Publishing team for the purpose of exploiting owned and administered copyrights, working with Business Affairs on licensing transactions, and supervision of outside consultants and representatives who assist in securing placements.

Job Requirements

Applicants must have a broad and voracious appetite for, and knowledge of, popular music and culture, including familiarity with key players relating to music usage.

A strong set of existing relationships with these key players, as well as relevant experience relating to placement of and use of music in film, television and other applicable channels is vital.

Salary range is commensurate with experience.
