Job Description:
Sony Pictures Entertainment is a leading creator and distributor of entertainment products, services and technology. Our global operations encompass motion picture production and distribution, television programming and syndication, home video acquisitions and distribution, operation of studio facilities, development of new entertainment technologies and distribution of filmed entertainment in over 67 countries.
Sony Pictures Television is looking for a full time Temporary Analyst in the Sales Planning Department.
Job Description:
The majority of time will be spent maintaining time period and clearance information for current and upcoming SPT programs. The temp will help verify actual time periods with stations and communicate details to Nielsen and other Sony Pictures Television departments. The temp will also assist the Sales Planning Analysts in ordering and processing Nielsen ratings for Sony Pictures Television programs as well as analyzing those ratings to create sales presentations and trade ads.

Job Requirements:
Highly proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Position is very computer/data intensive. Must enjoy working with numbers and statistics. Course work in statistics, accounting and finance is helpful. Should be interested in the area of television and have a general knowledge of current television programming.
