Job Description:
To direct participations staff in the prepartation of 3rd party/participation statements, to read 3rd party contracts and to direct staff to create statements according to those contracts, to review 3rd party statements and deliver them to the various label families for review, to communicate with the label family staff and the 3rd parties as required. The Manager will supervise and review month end journal entries and related activity.
Job Requirements
Candidate should be able to read and administer contracts, have the ability to write income statements and must possess strong analytical skills. Music business strongly preferred, Oracle experience a plus. Excel at an intermediate-plus level, and basic Word skills a requirement. Candidate should posses good communication skills and have the ability to present the Warner Music Group favorably to 3rd parties. Successful candidate must possess staff supervision skills.
Proven track record working as a Sr. Staff Accountant or Manager for several years in a related capacity. Require month-end close, income statement preparation, analysis, reconciliations experience. Strongly prefer related Music business and contract administration experience, and 3rd party reporting. Experience supervising staff preferred.
EDUCATION:
BA degree required, preferred in accounting.
