Job Description:
International Creative Management, Inc.® a major talent music and literary agency an exceptional, highly motivated, and detail oriented Assistant for one of our busy Music Agents. It is an excellent place to learn about the music/agency side of the entertainment business.
You must have solid applicable music "working" industry experience.
THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN OUR NEW YORK OFFICE.
Job Requirements
The successful candidate must be able to work well in a fast paced environment, have the ability to multi-task and be detail-oriented on behalf of a busy and creative agent. Position starts immediately. A one year commitment is required.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree required
- Agency experience is preferred
- Must have music experience
- Minimum of 1 year administrative experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Time management and multi-tasking skills
- Able to work well in a fast paced environment
- Organized and analytical
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Must be able to start immediately
Responsibilities:
- Answering and directing a high volume of phone calls
- Handle heavy filing and e-mail correspondence
- Schedule meetings
- Ability to handle a high volume of transactions
- Be able to interact with various departments
- Effectively interact and communicate with all levels of employees
- Handle pressure in a professional manner
- Excellent problem solver
- Ability to make sound decisions quickly; use practical approaches
- Be a team members working to improve a busy office
- Additional responsibilities as they occur with the expansion and development of the department
- Long hours are routine
